NeuroTexas Institute at St. David's HealthCare was launched in 2008 to provide leading edge neurological and neurosurgical care. Today, the Institute has grown to include more than 30 physicians across a wide range of subspecialties that are committed to its vision of quality care and research advances. Research at NeuroTexas Institute at St. David’s HealthCare combines biology, computer science, mathematics, physics, and engineering to discover vital clues about how the brain and nervous system function. Our primary focus is on advancing “state of the art” neurological and neurosurgical care in collaboration with NeuroTexas Institute physicians and scientists at local Austin academic and business affiliates. We are currently exploring a wide range of projects relating to improving patient outcomes, the genetic basis of neurological diseases, and innovative clinical trials.
