Biomedical Device Technology
Biomedical Device Technology at NeuroTexas Institute focuses on the design and facilitation of innovative surgical devices that improve upon the technology used in neurological surgeries. One new technology currently being trialed at our facility is Intraoperative Optical Imaging of Brain Function which is non-invasive, imaging of blood flow compared against currently used invasive cortical mapping for real-time intraoperative mapping of speech, motor and/or sensory areas of the brain.
